I try to raise the bar a few miles every time I do a weekly “long” run. This week’s goal was either 6.5 or 7.6 miles (depending on how I felt at the 5.1 mile mark, which is roughly how much I did last week, so I at least wanted to achieve that).
Oddly enough, it got somewhat difficult around the 3 mile mark, and I started getting a side stitch. Thankfully though, I was able to run though it, and by mile 4, I was doing great.
So I went ahead and did the longer of the two planned routes,…
